Our Story
Maine Coon To Love is a small, family-run cattery based in Enfield, North London. We are not a large commercial operation – we are cat lovers who have dedicated our home to raising healthy, happy, and well-socialised Maine Coon kittens.
Our journey began with a deep admiration for the Maine Coon breed – their gentle nature, intelligence, and majestic appearance. Over the years, we have carefully built our cattery around ethical practices, genetic health screening, and a genuine love for every cat in our care.
Our home has been thoughtfully modified to give our cats space to play, climb, and rest. Kittens are born and raised in our living space, surrounded by family life – conversations, children, and daily activity. This early socialisation is what makes our kittens so confident and affectionate when they join their new families.
We are fully licensed by Enfield Council (LN/202500544), which means we undergo regular inspections covering animal welfare, housing standards, hygiene, and emergency planning. For you as a buyer, this guarantees that every kitten is raised in a safe, legal, and ethical environment.

The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) is the UK's premier cat registry. Our GCCF registration means every kitten has traceable purebred ancestry, and we adhere to their strict code of ethics. Your kitten will come with a 4–5 generation pedigree certificate.
🌍 TICA Registered
The International Cat Association (TICA) provides global recognition for purebred cats. This is particularly valuable for buyers in Europe who may want to show their cat or need internationally verified pedigree documentation for travel or breeding rights.
Our Breeding Ethics
🐾 No Overbreeding
We limit litters to ensure each queen receives proper rest and veterinary care. Quality over quantity is our philosophy.
🩺 HCM & Genetic Screening
All our breeding cats are tested for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), hip dysplasia, and spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
🏠 Home Socialisation
Kittens are raised in our family home, not cages. They are exposed to children, household noises, and gentle handling daily.
💚 Lifetime Breeder Support
We never disappear after the sale. We are always available for advice, health questions, or just to see how your kitten is settling in.
Health & Welfare Standards
🩺 Pre-Breeding Health Testing
Before any of our cats are bred, they undergo comprehensive health screening including HCM echocardiograms, hip scoring, and DNA testing for SMA. Only cats with clear results become part of our breeding programme.
👶 Kitten Health Protocol
All kittens are microchipped, receive their first and second vaccinations, are dewormed, and flea treated before leaving at 12 weeks old. They also receive a full vet health certificate.
🏡 Clean & Enriched Environment
Our cattery is inspected regularly by Enfield Council. We maintain scrupulous cleanliness, provide vertical spaces for climbing, scratching posts, and interactive toys.
📋 Diet & Nutrition
Our cats are fed a high-quality diet of raw and premium wet food. Kittens transition to your chosen food with a starter pack included.
Meet Our Cats
Our breeding cats are first and foremost beloved pets. Each has their own personality – from the gentle giant who loves lap time to the playful adventurer who fetches toys like a dog.
We select our queens and studs based on three pillars: health, temperament, and type. Every cat in our programme has excellent Maine Coon characteristics – well-defined muzzles, large expressive eyes, good ear size with lynx tips, and a muscular, balanced body.
All our cats enjoy free access to our home and a secure outdoor catio. They receive regular veterinary care, high-quality nutrition, and – most importantly – daily affection and attention from our family.
